Hazelwood Skate Park, located at 4924 Hazelwood Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate skateboarders, bikers, roller skaters, and scooter riders of all skill levels. As Baltimore County's second public skate bowl facility, it serves as a modern counterpart to the historic Lansdowne Skate Park, which opened in the 1970s.
The project was managed by general contractor North Point Builders, with specialized skatepark construction by Artisan Skateparks. Comer Construction handled essential site preparation tasks, including grading, excavation, stormwater management, roadwork, and paving. The total project cost was approximately $4.3 million, with nearly $2 million secured through grants. This funding included $1.3 million from Maryland Local Parks and Playgrounds Infrastructure, $535,000 from Maryland Program Open Space, and $150,000 in State Aid.
